Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C3

1980  Model C3

CHEVROLET CORVETTE STINGRAY

The Chevrolet Corvette is Americas only true sports car and the C3 model followed the  style of the stunning Mako Shark II Concept car designed by Larry Shinoda in early 1964.   For the 1980 model year many weight saving design details were incorporated reducing the overall weight by 250 lbs to offset the effects of stringent smog laws in the USA which saw power outputs reduced from previous years models. This car was exported from the USA in 1989 to Japan where it resided until July 2016 when imported to the UK. It has been subject to a professional `wide body` conversion with deeply flared wheel arches and additional front and rear spoilers and side skirts all frenched in to bodywork and finished off in a deep purple metallic paint.
