Zoe's Place Coventry to Paris Charity Cycle Ride
On 11th September a number of intrepid cyclist and their support set off from Peugot-Citroen HQ in Coventry, destination Paris. This was in aid of Zoe's Place Baby Hospice in Coventry which we have supported for some time.
They were our nominated charity at the Coventry Festival of Motoring where we raised £1470.
For the Charity ride we provided the seed commitment to support the ride and Wendy and Mick joined us at the Coventry FoM to further promote the event.
A 7am (!) start was joined by Cindy, Ian and John from the Bears to send them on their way with our best wishes.
The result was that a total over £70k was raised for this worthy cause by the gallant participants.
The picture below shows the group at the start. Mick McCann is centre stage, with ‘beret et onions’ – with Wendy (Lead Nurse), her hands in the air, to his side.
